In an organization, performance is affected by various factors. The of the cement industry in Kenya has been adversely challenge inadequate employee training, inefficiency, not meeting targets, development and reduced sales volume. Cost leadership, differentiation focus strategies are used enhancing organizational performance. This current study was to determine influence competitive on selected Cement Companies Kenya. specific objectives were examine cost leadership strategy, strategy Theories guiding included; advantage theory, resource based view open systems theory dynamic capability theory. descriptive research design. unit analysis 6 that Bamburi Limited, Mombasa Ltd (MCL), East Africa Portland Company, Savannah Limited ,ARM National Company . observation employees working with these companies. Therefore, target population 744 employees. Stratified sampling method group respondents into departments order ensure representativeness all cases. Simple random select respondents. sample size 260 which represented a 34.9% total population. Data collected using self-administered questionnaire basis drop pick later method. Reliability validity instrument ascertained. analyzed as well inferential statistics. found had positive significant effect manufacturing concluded firm following offers products or services acceptable quality features broad set customers at low price. A enables create product/service, considered unique some aspect customer values because their needs satisfied.
